Stirling Castle

Stirling Castle, Scotland. It was at Stirling Bridge that Sir William Wallace defeated an English army in 1297.

You can see the class system at work in this shot! the village at the base of the cliff always dwarfed by the castle above. But that castle provided the protection when needed -or tryed too. This is a lovely image Mary and it speaks volumes.
