Heavy crop from an image i did'nt like. Not too sure if it 'works' or not?

I think it works. The fence draws your eye through the image, and those clouds are ominous.

Good image, I like the b/w and the compositon, I think that the broadside cropping adds beauty to this image.

It has an almost abstract simplicity and yes it works.
You could have a fiddle and try beefing up the contrast and perhaps lowering the brightness to make the impending storm more ominous if you felt so inclined.

@grouser: Hello! Grouser! Sometimes i do things without giving enough thought. Have tried your 'tip' with contrast and brightness 'fiddling' and it has really improved the image. Thanks.

I think it works well. I would agree with grouser. The fluffy white clouds could be toned down a bit to make the storm look more threatening.

Even without seeing the original I'd say it works..! It has an isolated moody feel to it.

I like these two guiding lines. One on ground, very square, very uniform, human what!!! The other in the sky, vaporous, inventive, far from the meanly human being Bravo for this sight and this parallelism ;)
