These were taken by firelight, in an Aberdeenshire country pub. Probably used for whisky in 'days of olde'. (I put an 'arty' filter on top from cs3)

just wonderful -- photo, lighting and ink wash PP!! i love these old jugs -- we used to have one when i was very very little, but i remember it quite clearly! it was too heavy for me to pick up... but i liked to tip it back and forth... someone would eventually take it away from me for fear i would break it! ;) beautifully done here Mary!!

That's a great still life, I love those old jugs! The light of the fires gives it a warm glow.
