A Grey day on SkyePosted by MaryP (Aberdeenshire, United Kingdom) on 2 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. On the way to Talisker Distillery. On such a drizzley day as this the distillery was the best place to be, A 'wee dram' soon cheered us up.

Kingfish from Menlo Park, United Statesvery nice landscape. The 'washed up' boats add a lot to the foreground of this shot. Wonderful green colors and clouds. 2 Nov 2008 5:04am jamesy from christchurch, New ZealandBeautiful shot but looks like a sad thing to do to your boat. Bet the whiskey helped 2 Nov 2008 6:07am Maxine from Rangiora, New ZealandOhh Mary this is lovely! the composition is fab, with the boats and then the pool of light across the water followed by the V in the hills! Grand work! 2 Nov 2008 8:41am Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainI like very much this panoramic composition. It's a beautiful picture of a splendid moment, with many elements and vibrant colours. 2 Nov 2008 11:52am bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaSuch a wonderful landscape, the boats in the foreground giving a nice perspective. There is something about an overcast day with enough light coming through to make the colours simply pop! Beautiful. 2 Nov 2008 1:20pm MontereyJohn from Salinas, California, United StatesMy, you got color out of a dreary day, well done.
