Bennachie in early Winter - AberdeenshirePosted by MaryP (Aberdeenshire, United Kingdom) on 15 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This 'little mountain' is much loved by the folk of Aberdeenshire and can be seen for many miles around. For many living away from Aberdeenshire Bennachie stands for 'home'.The top is called 'mither tap' and on a clear sunny day you can see the Moray firth and the North Sea glistening in the sun. (I live in a village on the other side.)
